The Cistercian monastery Bronnbach was founded in 1151 in the Tauber Valley. Today, the monastery lies within the Wertheim city limits. The monastery has been the property of the Main Tauber district since 1986. The culturally significant monastery incorporates Romanesque and Gothic architectural styles and is worth a visit at any time of the year. Visitors get to tour the church, cloister, the Josef Hall and the Bernhard Hall. The monastery also wows visitors with a variety of musical events.
