Wine and Bible: The story of this terroir f could not be told better anywhere other than at the Kapellenberg terroir in Frickenhausen am Main. High above town, you are looking at an impressive installation with the theme “Wine is Truth. Wine is a Blessing.”
Three massive blocks of Muschelkalk limestone form an “altar” where wine tastings are celebrated under the sky. Behind the altar is the famous painting “The Last Meal” by Leonardo da Vinci as a silhouette made of corten steel. The media presentation explains the connection between the Bible, religion and wine.
